There are no transmission trouble codes being presented, and shifting to manual second does not put the transmission in second either. After re-installation, I only have reverse, 1, and 3. All pieces of the pump appear to be accounted for.

The rotor on the pump in my '96 4L60-e (in a '95 Caprice) blew up a while back. Either way, It seems appropriate to start a new topic. Now if for some reason it's just not going to work, I'll sell the servo and either get a transgo shift kit or just the blackear tune.I talked about this some here, but I've since found that I actually don't have 4th. I thought the vette servo fits mine, and that pin was just supposed to slide out. Also I tried to see if the pin would fit in the new 2nd gear servo and its diameter is slightly too big! The kit from oregon performance did not come with a new pin and the picture on their website doesnt show it either. I even used c-clamps on either side of the servo to open it up and see if it was something catching inside, but it's like the pin is locked in there somewhere. I tried every which way I could, but the 2nd gear part and the pin were stuck together. Well that long pin would NOT slide out of the servo. After I pulled the stock servo and got the new parts and old ones gathered together on a workbench, I followed the instructions and removed the eclip, washer, and spring from the 2nd gear apply servo. I'm not a mechanic but I have alot of skill with tools and I've worked on cars before doing repairs and upgrades. I read that it would work for my truck, I have a 2007 NBS Sierra VortecMAX with the 4L70e tranny. After doing much research I decided to get a vette servo everyone has talked about.
